Candida Cleanse
Rich Anderson's Recommendations For the Control of Yeast (Candida Albicans) Pseudomonas, E. Coli, and Other Pathogenic Bacteria
The greatest epidemics the world has ever known run rampant in America today. Antibiotics have contributed to this increase of disease by destroying the friendly bacteria in the intestinal tract, which opens the way to mild and serious fungal, yeast, bacterial, and parasitic infections. These conditions contribute to an inefficient digestive system and an uncountable number of other problems, including cancer, heart disease, AIDS, fatigue, and many other chronic and degenerative diseases. Due to the widespread use of antibiotics both medically and in our foods, one disease has developed in more than 1/3 of the American population. This is Candidiasis, sometimes known as a “yeast infection.”
This yeast first begins its out-of-control development in our intestines, and then it can spread throughout the entire body, including the blood. It then becomes a forerunner of many other diseases, due to its generation of acids and toxicity and its impact upon the immune system. Many products such as acidophilus and those containing caprylic acid have been used with very little success in treating this problem. These products sometimes temporarily reduce symptoms but seldom bring Candida into balance. One of the problems with these products is the acids they generate. An increase of acids can greatly reduce the vital alkaline reserve minerals, thereby further depleting and weakening the organs and tissues of our bodies. This can become the forerunner of even more serious diseases. One of the greatest needs today is to have a natural product that is beneficial to our metabolic functions and yet capable of exerting maximum control over unwanted intestinal organisms, thereby acquiring or maintaining a healthy intestinal environment.
Rich Anderson developed a more acid-forming probiotic supplement to assist in the proper colonization of the intestinal tract and to help prevent or remove the growth of harmful organisms. This bacteria mix is capable of effectively assisting in normalizing of the intestinal environment by controlling unwanted organisms. When this supplement is added to intestinal therapy programs, there can be a reduction of harmful organisms that contribute to bowel putrefaction, vitamin-mineral deficiency, systemic toxicity, and a weakened immune system. However, those with advanced cases of Candida are strongly advised to secure the help of a qualified health practitioner who is familiar with intestinal cleansing and with treating Candida successfully. This practitioner should monitor their progress while cleansing, and adapt the program to meet their individual needs. This is particularly important with Candida because it creates so many complicating factors. Rich Anderson's more acid-forming probiotic supplement is good tasting. It was made this way because clinical research has demonstrated that a major focus of Candida is in the mouth, throat, and stomach. Any attempt to permanently eliminate gastro-intestinal Candida infestations must begin in these areas. This supplement contains a highly selective strain of lactic-acid-producing bacteria that inhibits the growth of yeast and Candidiasis. It also prevents the growth of pseudomonas, enterobacterium, and Bacteroides. The action of this probiotic, therefore, is to control intestinal yeast infection, facilitate normalization of the entire intestinal environment, and assist colonization of the intestine by compatible organisms.
Ingredients: L. acidophilus, S. faecium, L. plantarum, L. bulgaricus, L. salivarius and L. casei. Enzyme Mix: Protease, amylase and lipase. Herb Mix: Echinacea angustifolia, Astragalus.
Indications: Rich Anderson's more acid-forming probiotic is indicated whenever an intestinal stress has occurred due to the infestation of a pathogenic organism. This occurs after any of the following: prolonged stress, antibiotics, birth control pills, constipation, improper diet or intestinal tract infections caused by salmonella, food poisoning, or Candida albicans infections, etc.
The most common problem this probiotic can address is:
Candida / Yeast - Frequently asked questions:
Q: Doesn't the release occurring with bentonite and psyllium wipe away the probiotics so that they are ineffective?
A: Yes. That is why those with yeast problems need to take a lot of probiotics while cleansing, especially those who have yeast infections such as Candida albicans. Yeast have pretty good roots, and while some will be washed away, many can hang on, multiplying again and again within hours, creating their unpleasant byproducts. These byproducts can cause bloating, weakness, and other discomfort. Taking a friendly bacteria will help maintain good bacteria, as opposed to the bad bacteria, and help prevent the yeast from dominating. It is theorized that as long as we continue taking large amounts of probiotics during a cleanse, the yeast cannot spread, but instead, will gradually be pulled out.
For those who do not have yeast infections, it is still important to keep taking probiotics while cleansing. Some have learned this the hard way, so please follow this guideline. You will feel better while cleansing. Some people may have a yeast infection and not be aware of it because it has not yet become acute. The wiping out of friendly bacteria and the taking of lots of fruit or carrot juice feeds yeast and allows them to spread. Taking bacteria during a cleanse helps to keep the yeast from taking over. Another reason we take probiotics during a cleanse is that once the Master phase is completed, many people become ravishingly hungry. As long as there is plenty of bulk in the gut, we tend to not get so hungry, and probiotics help to provide bulk. After a cleanse it is common for some people to pig out on anything and everything they can find. After they were stuffed to the gills, they were still hungry. Remember, 40% of the stool is, or should be, bacteria. Taking the bacteria during a cleanse prevents problems. It is well worth the cost of the probiotics.

Candida Cleanse: symptoms of troubles:
Intestinal infections of salmonella, pseudomonas, entero bacterium (consists of various bacteria, including E. coli (Escherichia) and some parasites)
Diarrhea or loose stools
Constipation
Chronic colds and frequent illnesses
Skin disorders such as pimples, acne, or persistent blemishes
Food poisoning
Allergic reactions within 30 minutes of eating, such as fatigue, sneezing, or intestinal gas and bloating
Food cravings and an abnormally excessive appetite
Any chronic disease, especially immune deficiencies
History of antibiotic use or regular eating of store-purchased meat
Flatulence
Cravings for sweets due to yeast
Vaginal infections caused by intestinal Candidiasis
Post-antibiotic therapy administration. This more acid-forming probiotic must be used with some degree of caution. Since its effect is to control unwanted organisms, a toxic reaction due to the “die off” of unhealthy micrograms can occur.
Following are important guidelines for cleansers who have an overgrowth of Candida:
- Make every attempt to pass the pH test, knowing that many who have Candida overgrowth may be unable to do so.
Drink vegetable broths in place of juices.
Do not have fruit or sweet vegetable juices (beet or carrot) on the Cleanse. Use only water with the psyllium-bentonite shakes.
Throughout all phases of cleansing, take one-fourth (1/4) teaspoon of the more acid-forming probiotic formula at least one hour before bedtime, one-half hour after each set of herbs, and one-half hour after each meal.
On the last week of the Cleanse take the less acid-forming probiotic formula along with the above.
After completing the Cleanse, discontinue using the more acid-forming probiotic and take four (4) serving sizes of the less-acid probiotic, three (3) times daily after meals, for approximately three (3) weeks.
Begin use of the formula for renewing or rebuilding the bowel wall approximately three (3) hours after the last psyllium shake.
Adverse Reactions
Due to its action, this probiotic can produce a “healing crisis”. The common reactions are:
- Nausea: in which case a liver detoxifier may be used such as Rich Anderson's liver strengthening formulas, or his antioxidant health guard.
- Diarrhea: due to the irritation the lining of the intestinal tract, in which case Rich Anderson's less acid-forming probiotic and his formula for renewing the intestinal wall should be used for two weeks or more before again taking the more acid-forming formula.
- Abdominal gas and distress followed by fatigue: indicating that the lining of the digestive tract needs repairs. In this case, Rich Anderson's formula for renewing the intestinal wall and his general use probiotic are suggested for 2-4 weeks before returning to the more acid-forming pro-biotic.
- The onset of a cold or illness: The use of the formula for renewing the intestinal wall, or intestinal cleansing may be helpful. In each case of aggravation, suspend the more acid-forming probiotic therapy until the adequate correctional therapy has been completed. This usually requires 2-4 weeks. However, in extremely debilitating cases, up to 3 months may be required before the treatment to bring Candida back into balance can be reinstated. In these cases, it is also best to use half dosage and then gradually work up to the full dosage.

Other Uses for the More Acid-Forming Probiotic: This may be dissolved in the mouth, which will allow a more complete elimination of undesirable microorganisms throughout the entire gastrointestinal tract. It has been shown to be effective against pathogenic bacteria that contribute towards sore throats. This supplement has been used with success for many years.
