The importance of Vitamin D:

Numerous studies show that most people in the US are severely deficient in Vitamin D.  Vitamin D is important in almost every biological function.  A surprisingly number of studies has linked numerous health problems to Vitamin D deficiencies.  We need the sun!  The sun is the very best way to get vitamin D; it is free, pure, and natural!  The sun is our life-giver for this planet.  We cannot live or be healthy without enough of this amazing radiance of light.

I have said from the beginning, no one gets skin cancer from the sun.  The problem isn’t the sun, the life-giver; it’s the toxins in the skin of toxic people, which react to the sun.  When we keep the body clean on the inside, we will never have skin cancer.

Watch out for sun tan lotions!  Many are carcinogenic.  Isn’t that amazing?  Personally, I will never use sun tan lotion.  Rarely I will use sun block, but only on a clear sunny day, in the snow or out on a lake, and then only after I feel a burn coming on and I know that I will be in the sun for many more hours.  I love the sun and I enjoy a good sunburn.  I always make a point of getting many sunburns every summer.  For decades, I have noticed that after a decent sunburn, I always feel better, stronger, more energetic, happier, and more clear in the head.  Bottom Line:  Strive to always have a suntan and in the winter, take vitamin D3.  It must be D3.

We need the sun to assimilate minerals, especially calcium. Calcium is used for many things besides bones. It is needed for strength, healing, emotional stability, pH, and more. Over a period of 20 years I have observed myself and others becoming stronger, more rejuvenated and whole when we spend time in the sun. Ideally, we should spend at least an hour every day in the sun. The more skin we expose to the sun, the better. I believe that the most important part of the body for the sun to kiss is the solar plexus. Exposing this area for just a few minutes can make wonderful changes.
