Mineral Rich Vegetable Broth
How to Make Mineral Rich Vegetable Broth
Take 3 quarts of distilled water and add 3 medium to large whole potatoes, 2-3 stalks of cut celery , and 1 or 2 large leaves of any greens, such as collard, mustard, kale, turnip or a half bunch of parsley. Even carrot or beet tops will do. Whatever is green. You could even add kelp if you wanted, as it has high concentrates of a wide variety of minerals. Use a stainless steel pot and bring to a light boil with the lid on. Simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from the heat, and after it has cooled a bit, strain and throw out chunks, keeping only the juice. Refrigerate. Drink 2-3 cups per day.
Alternate Powerful Methods of Getting Minerals into Your Body to Remove Acids
A Goat Whey Drink: 1 heaping teaspoon of goat whey and 2 heaping teaspoons of lecithin granules (be sure the label says 95% phosphatides). Put into a cup of warm distilled water, stir and drink.
Adding goat whey to your carrot juice is excellent. Drinking carrot or celery juice for a week or two will do wonders.
Eating just celery for 2 or 3 days is an excellent way of getting sodium into the system and balancing the digestive system. A psyllium shake once or twice a day will improve this program.

Vegetarian Broccoli and Apple salad (1 serving)
- Organic lettuce and sprouts
- 1 stalk of organic broccoli
- 1/2 organic apple
- 1 Tbsp. soaked raw organic sunflower seeds - soaked for 6-8 hrs

Steam broccoli flowers until crisp tender.
Peel broccoli stalks, slice and add to washed lettuce and sprouts. Core and chop apple and add to salad along with drained sunflower seeds. Let broccoli cool then add to salad.Sprinkle dulse powder or flakes generously over the salad then add organic cold pressed olive oil, organic cold pressed flax seed oil and raw organic apple cider vinegar to taste. Mix and enjoy!
*When nuts and seeds are soaked they become neutral to alkaline, however if too many are eaten they will slow down the cleanse.*
Vegetarian Potato and Greens salad (1 serving)
- Organic lettuce and sprouts
- Organic cultivated dandelion greens (not as bitter as wild)
- 2 stalks organic celery, chopped
- 1Tbsp. soaked raw organic sunflower seeds (optional)
- 1 medium organic potato, cubed
- Organic cold pressed olive oil and flax seed oil
- Raw organic apple cider vinegar
Bring cubed potato to a boil and let cook until fork tender, drain and let cool. Wash lettuce and dandelion greens and then add sprouts to salad; mung bean sprouts are good with this salad. You will probably want to experiment to see that amount of dandelion greens you like mixed with your lettuce for a mild bitter taste, I cut it into about 1” sections. Add celery and drained sunflower seeds. Add cooled potatoes to salad, add olive oil, flax seed oil and apple cider vinegar to taste. Toss and serve.
*Remember to limit potatoes to 1 or 2 times a week as they will slow down the cleanse.*
Vegetarian Cauliflower Soup (1 serving)
- Organic cauliflower florets, 1/2 to 1/3 of a head depending on size
-
1/2 organic avocado
-
distilled water
- 1/2 to 1 tsp of curry, to taste
Blend all ingredients and add water to desired consistency. This recipe works great if you have a VitaMix because it warms the soup as it blends. You want to maintain the enzymes and nutrients of the raw vegetables in this recipe so if you warm it on the stove do the finger test. If your finger can comfortably be left in it for several seconds then the enzymes are still active. When food is heated over 105 degrees most enzymes are killed and some nutrients are lost.
Vegetarian Yam Soup (1 serving)
- 1 small organic yam
- 1 small to medium organic apple
- distilled water
- 1/4 tsp.cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ginger and nutmeg
- 2 tsp organic cold pressed olive oil or flax seed oil
Peel and chop yam and core and chop apple, put in blender container with all the spices except nutmeg. Blend with water or apple juice to desired consistency. Warm to desired temperature, below 105 degrees, to maintain enzymes and nutrients. Sprinkle with nutmeg and serve.
Vegetarian "A Grate Salad"
- Red and/or Green lettuce and sprouts (enough for 1 salad)
- 1 small raw beet
- 1 small apple
- 1 Jerusalem artichoke
Dressing
- 2 tbsp cold-pressed (extra virgin) organic olive oil
- 2 tsp raw organic apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp curry
Wash and dry lettuce, then grate apple, beet and Jerusalem artichoke on top of lettuce and sprouts. Toss all together. Mix olive oil, apple cider vinegar and curry together and add to tossed salad. Mix and serve.
Vegetarian Vitamin C Smoothie
Peel the fruit and cut up so can blend smoothly. Add water to the desired consistency. You may add soaked almonds for additional nutrients and substance, if in the beginning of cleanse. This may help with the transition to an alkaline diet. If into the second or third week of the cleanse you may want to omit so as not to slow down your cleanse. Addition of flax seed oil will provide some of the Essential Fatty Acid (EFA) our bodies require. You may also add ice if you like your smoothies cold.
